Cleave [Tactical]

Prerequisites: Strength 13, Power Attack.

Benefit: With this tactical feat you can do four separate things after attacking an opponent with a melee weapon.

Cleave- If you deal the opponent enough damage to make it drop (typically by dropping it to below 0 hit points or killing it) you get an immediate, extra melee attack against another creature within reach.

Relentless Attack- If you successfully deal damage to the opponent, but do not do enough damage to make it drop, you may take an immediate, extra melee attack against another creature within reach. This action provokes an attack of opportunity from the opponent you wounded with a +4 circumstance bonus to the roll.

Bloodlust- You may take a 5-foot step before using your Cleave or Relentless Attack abilities. If you do so, you suffer a cumulative -2 penalty to the remainder of your attacks this round.

To the Hilt- If attacking with a slashing or piercing weapon, you may gain a +2 circumstance bonus to your damage roll. However, if the damage rolled with the weapon (before any modifiers for Strength, sneak attacks and bonuses of any kind) is higher than your Strength modifier, the weapon sticks into the enemy. You or another character (including the one with the weapon stuck in him if he is still alive) can remove the stuck weapon by taking a full-round action and making a Strength check (DC 10). Weapons stuck in an opponent deal 1 point of damage per round until removed.
