Disciples of the Prophet Kayyam are considered the strangest and potentially the most dangerous cultists in the world. Claiming that their prophet speaks for the one true God, and that all other cults worship demons or charlatans, they have made no allies among the other religions, and are often persecuted or murdered for their beliefs.

No one can deny their power, however. The prophet’s disciples have been known to accomplish the impossible in the name of their God. There have been tales of Kayyam’s followers living for months at a time without food or water, or walking through the southern wastelands with nothing but a simple robe and walking stick. While some dismiss these feats as sorcery, those that have seen them firsthand are not so sure.

Starting Ability

You must never own more than seven lasting possessions—a simple set of clothing, a pair of sandals or shoes, a bowl, a sack, a blanket, a simple weapon (and up to 25 units of ammunition if they are carrying a ranged weapon), and any one other item. The total value of these items may not exceed 120sp.

Each day, you can meditate (which takes 1 minute), gaining a number of vow points equal to your HD (any points left over from the previous day are lost). These points can be spent to obtain a number of effects, which are listed below. Using an effect is a swift action. All effects bought are lost when you meditate to gain your vow points. Each benefit can only be used once per day.

When you purchase this kit, you gain the Sustenance ability for free. All other abilities must be purchased with XP as normal.

Sustenance

Cost to Activate: 1 Vow Point.
You do not need to eat or drink for the next 24 hours. You are automatically considered to have consumed enough food and drink to suffer no ill-effects from starvation or thirst.

Cohort
XP Cost: 250
Cost to Activate: 3 Vow Points.
You gain a follower, as if you had taken the Leadership Feat, with a number of HD equal to half of your own (rounded down). The follower gained from this ability must also have this kit. This follower never needs to make loyalty checks, regardless of the circumstances. Unlike the other abilities in this kit, you cannot swap this ability out each day. Instead, once you have taken it, you cannot remove it until you no longer have your cohort, whenever they left your service, death, or other means.

Endure Elements
XP Cost: 70
Cost to Activate: 1 Vow Point.
You become immune to the effects of being in a hot or cold environment. You can exist comfortably in conditions between -50 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit without having to make Fortitude saves. This is an Extraordinary ability.

Fortification
XP Cost: 70
Cost to Activate: 1 Vow Point.
When you are affected by a sneak attack or critical hit you have a 25% chance to negate the effect and not suffer the trauma damage. This is an Extraordinary ability.

Hands of Life
XP Cost: 100
Cost to Activate: 3 Vow Points.
You may touch a creature to convert an amount of lethal damage to subdual damage equal to the number of ranks you have in the Heal skill. This ability may be used a number of times a day equal to half your HD. This is a Supernatural ability

Inner Power
XP Cost: 100
Cost: 2 Vow Points.
You gain a bonus equal to half of your HD to the ability score of your choice. This is an Extraordinary ability.

Silver Tongue
XP Cost: 70
Cost to Activate: 1 Vow Point
You gain a bonus to your Diplomacy and Intimidation skill checks equal to half your HD. This is an Extraordinary ability.

Total Control
XP Cost: 100
Cost: 2 Vow Points.
You gain immunity to fear effects, along with attempts to stun or grapple you. This is an Extraordinary ability.
