Dipping his fingers into any fire, the sorcerer may then fling it, creating an incendiary stream of blazing heat. While it will not burn for long without fuel (just long enough to land on something), the heat is surprisingly great, fed as it is by the sorcerer's will. When hurling the fiery bolt, the sorcerer must succeed at a ranged touch attack roll to hit. The bolt deals 2d4 + 2 points of damage to any creature, or damages a single object in spell's range. It can melt metals with low melting points, such as lead, gold, copper, silver, and bronze. If the target is wearing combustible material, or the object is combustible, it automatically is set on fire.
