Mana Pool

Whenever you take an action to cast a spell, you accumulate a variable amount of mana which is the result of your spellcasting or ritualcasting check. If the check is not enough to meet the Threshold of the spell, the result becomes your mana pool. Each additional check result is then added to this pool until the total amount of accumulated meets or exceeds the Threshold of the spell you are trying to cast. You “empty” your mana pool to cast the spell, so when casting the next spell, your mana pool starts at 0.
