Resting And Sleeping

You may take two different types of recovery: Resting and Sleeping

A rest is a period of downtime, about an hour long (1 time unit), where you catch your breath, eat or drink something, and clean and bind your wounds. You must have at least 1 Hit Point in order to rest. If you have a Healer’s Kit, you may expend one use of it to regain a number of hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1).

Sleeping is a period of downtime roughly eight hours long, during which you sleep and perform light activity (reading, talking, eating, or standing watch for no more than 2 hours). You must have at least 1 hit point to sleep. If you take any strenuous action while sleeping (such as taking damage, entering combat, or spell casting), you must start over. At the end of your sleep period, you regain a number of Hit Points equal to your Hit Dice plus your Constitution modifier (minimum1).
