Rank One Ability

Recognize Ambush
You may use the Battle skill as part of an examination of an area in order to recognize good points for ambush. This does not actually allow you to spot a specific ambush without making a successful Spot check, but does allow you a circumstance bonus to Spot checks to see an ambush if you have previously realized you are entering a prime ambush location.

Base DC: 20

Success: You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to Spot checks to see an ambush if you have previously realized you are entering a prime ambush location. If you excced the DC by more than 5, your bonus increases to +4. If you exceed the DC by 10 or more, the bonus increases to a +6.

Failure: You cannot see any good spots for ambush, and gain no bonuses to your Spot checks.

Rank 4 Ability

Expert Flanker
You gain a +4 bonus when flanking instead of the normal +2 bonus. Your allies who flank with you gain the same advantage.

Rank 6 Ability

Sudden Strike
Whenever you are making an attack roll against a flat-footed opponent, you may make an Battle check as a free action. The results of the roll determine the amount of additional damage done, as shown on the following table:

You may Feint as an immediate action.

Rank 10 Ability

Slow Them Down
As a move action, you may make any 5' square adjacent to yourself into difficult ground.

Rank 13 Ability

Superior Flanker
For determining flanking with your allies, you may count your location as being 5' in any direction from your real location.
