Unarmed Combat: Unarmed Strike

Primary Attribute: Strength

Rank 3 Ability

You are considered to be armed even when unarmed—you do not provoke attacks of opportunity when you attack foes while unarmed. Your unarmed strikes can deal lethal or nonlethal damage, at your choice.

Rank 4 Ability

As a swift action, you can opt for your unarmed strikes to deal your choice of bludgeoning or slashing damage. Once you make this choice, your unarmed strikes continue to deal the chosen damage type until you use another swift action to change it.

Rank 5 Ability

Any shaken, frightened, or panicked opponent hit by you this round with your unarmed attack is flat-footed to your attacks until the end of your next turn. This includes any additional attacks you make this round.

Rank 6 Ability

Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 damage.

Rank 7 Ability

While both of your hands are free, whenever a creature you are grabbing fails an attempt to escape your grab, you can make a melee basic attack against it as an opportunity action.

Rank 8 Ability

While both of your hands are free, when you use the total defense action until the start of your next turn, any creature that misses you grants you a +4 bonus to attack rolls made against it until the end of your next turn instead.

Rank 9 Ability

Your unarmed attacks deal 1d8 damage.

Rank 10 Ability

While both of your hands are free, and you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike, you can make a additional unarmed strike as a free action.

Rank 11 Ability

When you score a critical hit using an unarmed strike, the target is dazed until the end of your next turn. If the target is already dazed, it's stunned instead.

Rank 12 Ability

Your unarmed attacks deal 1d10 damage.
